Homemade Coffee Creamer


My husband loves his coffee black. Me? I need a little something extra. I used to love a spoonful of sugar (not just for medicine) and a splash of half and half. But after awhile I tried to enjoy my brew without the extra sucrose. Didn't last long. I moved through store bought sweetened creamers, a million flavors, (and a million chemicals), and after a friend of mine convinced me it was one of the worst things I could be putting in my body every morning, I even gave those up. Imagine my happiness when I learned I could make my own coffee creamer! Since then I've never gone back. This creamer may not be "diet friendly" (I use whipping cream en lieu of half and half) but that's not a concern of mine. It makes any cup of coffee dee-lish, tastes like melted ice cream, thick and creamy!
All you need is:

Ingredients:

1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 quart heavy whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla extract (try homemade)
1 tsp almond extract

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a jar or bottle with a lid. If the lid goes on securely give it a little shake to combine, otherwise stir it together.
Store in the fridge, and swirl or shake before each use.

Take note of the expiration date on the cream. I like to tie a a cute tag around the neck of my creamer bottle with the expiration date written on it.
